After telling two notes apart, the next challenge in ear training is hearing three or more at once: the chord. Recognizing the color of a chord by ear — whether it is major, minor, or has a seventh — is what lets you pick out songs, play along without charts and understand harmony from the inside.
In this game, you hear a chord and classify it. The levels follow the logic of harmony: first the fundamental contrast between major and minor triads, then diminished and augmented, then the seventh chords that drive popular music and jazz, up to extensions like the ninth.
In ranked mode, each level is a step toward finer listening; in free mode, you choose which chord qualities to practice and what to focus on.
It is the listening companion for anyone studying harmony: theory tells you how a chord is built, the game trains you to recognize it by sound. Runs right in the browser, on your computer or phone.
