Short terms, because the service is simple: you open the site and you play. What is written here covers the three addresses of the project.
What Absolute Pitch Class is
A site with games for practising rhythm, music reading and ear training. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
You can play without an account. The account is there so your progress follows you from one device to another, and to unlock the level paths from the fourth level on.
By using the site you agree with what is on this page.
The service is offered as it is
We take care to keep the site working well, but we do not promise it will be up all the time or free of errors.
We are not liable for loss of progress, of a file or of time caused by a failure, by maintenance or by an interruption of the service.
No game here replaces lessons with a teacher. They train specific skills, and that is that.
Personal and educational use
You may use the site to study, on your own or with students, at home or at school, including on the classroom screen.
What you may not do:
- Copy the site, in whole or in part, to publish it somewhere else.
- Charge for access to these pages as if the service were yours.
- Automate access, forge scores or disturb how the site works for other people.
- Upload a file you have no right to use.
The content of the site
The code, the texts, the engraving of the scores, the icons and the sounds of the site belong to the author of the project.
Using it in class, showing it on screen and recommending it to students: go ahead.
Republishing it as your own content, or wrapping it inside a product of yours: no.
The songs
The repertoire that comes with the music game is public domain, and only the melody — never anybody's recording. Each piece carries in its file a note saying where it comes from.
The MIDI file you import is your responsibility: by importing it you state that you have the right to use it. We do not publish it, do not show it to other people and do not distribute it.
Without an account that file does not even leave your device. With an account it only leaves if you tap “Sync now”, and even then it is visible only to you.
Account and closing
You can delete your account whenever you want, in the account menu inside the app. The deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We may close an account that strains the system, forges scores or uses the service to attack the site.
There is no charge of any kind for using the site today.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change. When they do, the update date at the top changes with them.
Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the new version.
Brazilian law applies. Anything that cannot be settled by e-mail goes to the Brazilian courts.
